Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and welcome back.   We hope everyone had a relaxing break with family and friends.  School begins Monday, January 8th (tomorrow), doors open at 7:55am.   It will be Day 6 on our schedules.

We are asking that students come prepared and dressed for the cold winter weather; it can be very cold waiting for the bus and we also go outside during lunch time play.

Christmas Fresh Food Drop – Friday!

St. Francis of Assisi School and School Council are very pleased to be partnered with the Town of Logy Bay- Middle Cove- Outer Cove and the Northeast Avalon Food Bank this year to help families in our community.

On FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15th, we will be hosting a FRESH FOOD DROP during our Kiss and Ride from 7:30am – 9:00am.

Kiss and Ride will open at 7:30.  A wonderful group of parent, town council, school council, staff, and student volunteers will be in our parking lot ready to help your child out of the car and help with food collection.

Some families have asked if they can send food in with their child on the bus, and of course they can.

Traffic MAY be a little slower, we appreciate your patience and we look forward to seeing everyone Friday morning.
